New Year. New Blog!

Hello. Happy New Year and welcome to the new blog!

For some strange reason, while other people change their blogs' layout periodically, I seem to move blogs as regularly. But anyhow, whatever the motivation, I'm glad to be back at blogspot—home in cyber space...

*bursts into chorus*

Where creativity roams,
Where fingers and keyboard can play.
Where seldom (will be) heard, a discouraging word.
And the (silver-lined) skies are not cloudy all day.

Sigh. Nostalgia...

Anyway, as with housewarming or with first time visits to friends' house, a cherished tradition is the obligatory guided tour of the house, or minimally, your host's room.

So here today, at my humble abode, I’m am glad to be of service in bringing you for show and tell! Hold onto your seats coz...here we go!

*ahem*

Ladies and Gentlemen: At our first stop, if you could direct your attention to the white bar on top of your browser that says http://silver-lined.blogspot.com. I’m sure you, being of sufficient intellect to use the internet would be familiar with the saying “every cloud has a silver lining”. Conventionally, the metaphor aims to convey the idea that there's light at the end of every tunnel or that there's a light behind every shadow which is similar to the idea that there’s sunshine after the rain like how dawn follows the darkest night... Hey! My engrish power sia! *hur hur*

But I digress, silverlinings are especially important for me coz they remind me on my dark, brooding, grumpy aka PMSic days that the sun shines eternally. And if you look to the right, it says there that I’m an eternal optimist who's perhaps hanging out too much with certain individuals.

Oh! And look what we have here:

"Almost all words do have color and nothing is more pleasant than to utter a pink word and see someone's eyes light up and know it is a pink word for him or her too"
~Gladys Taber~

Yes, this valiant effort to keep the blog, or rather a blog going despite my rather lack luster performance at the last site is to maintain a platform where I attempt to meditate more, share more (pink words) and work at keeping channels of communication open. So if you do drop by, don’t let it be a guilty voyeuristic pleasure... the tagboard is there for your convenience. Say "hi", ask me out, tell me you love me (not necessarily in that order though. I like surprises…usually). For me, it’ll be great to know who’s been here. Communication is two ways ain’t it?

Hmm... well, I guess this is about it. But before you leave, let me introduce someone I got to know rather intimately...

Check out Teenage Mutant Tuna Turtle!

I made his acquaintance and he acquainted himself with my tummy (which incidentally has been funny recently).

Yummy!
